A commission :)
Mermaid is in cold porcelain, but fins are made with a japanese air dry clay that becomes almost trasparent. I think it is Sukerukun clay, but I'm not sure.

Sirena Cristallo, una commissione. La sirena in pasta di mais, ma le pinne sono fatte con una pasta giapponese che sciuga all'aria e diventa quasi trasparente. Credo sia la Sukerukun, ma non sono sicura del nome.

I bought it clay from a japanese miniturist at Miniaturitalia, the italian fair of miniature. I saw this clay on a site (this: [link]), some time ago, and I was curios to try it... unfortunately it's very difficult to find it in Italy =(
